The MUSKET Ridge Golf Club became a Maryland Interclub Senior Golf Association (MISGA) club in 2009. If you are 50 years of age or older, have at least a Musket Ridge Blue-Gray Membership, maintain a handicap at Musket Ridge Handicap System, complete Musket Ridge MISGA Application Form and pay the $30.00 fee to join the Musket Ridge MISGA, you can participate in all the Musket Ridge MISGA golf outings.
MISGA consists of over 4,000 senior golfers in Maryland, parts of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia and West Virginia.
MISGA fosters camaraderie through tournaments, fall and spring golf trips and golf mixers on a home and away basis. There are currently over 60 clubs in MISGA including Musket Ridge GC.
Once a member of the Musket Ridge MISGA, you can participate in ANY or ALL of the scheduled mixers, about a third of which are at Musket Ridge.
Then for a low cost of about $35 to $50 per mixer you can enjoy 18 holes of golf, including green fees, cart, coffee and donuts, lunch, and prizes (if you are lucky!) This is a terrific value, with courses discounting their fees to support the group! Typical events draw 40 to 80 golfers.
Besides the home mixers at Musket Ridge, you will be able to participate in MISGA mixers at neighboring clubs like Bay Hills GC, Beaver Creek CC, Bowie G & CC, Bretton Woods GC, Compass Pointe GC, Cress Creek CC, Crofton CC, Cross Creek GC, Fairway Hills GC, Fountain Head CC, Glade Valley GC, Hobbits Glen GC, Holly Hills CC, Hunt Valley CC, Kenwood CC, Leisure World GC, The Links at Challedon, Montgomery CC, Norbeck CC, Patuxent Greens GC, Quail Valley GC, Rattlewood GC, Sparrows Point CC, NGC at Tantallon, Timbers at Troy, University of Maryland GC, and Westminster National GC.
